# Async Basic Agent

> Run a Nexus agent asynchronously with aprint_response.

## Code

```python basic.py theme={null}
import asyncio

from agno.agent import Agent
from agno.models.nexus import Nexus

agent = Agent(model=Nexus(id="anthropic/claude-sonnet-4-6"), markdown=True)

asyncio.run(agent.aprint_response("Share a 2 sentence horror story"))

```

## Usage

**1. Set your API keys**

```bash theme={null}
export OPENAI_API_KEY=xxx
export ANTHROPIC_API_KEY=xxx
```

**2. Install dependencies**

```bash theme={null}
uv pip install -U agno openai
```

**3. Run Agent**

Save the code above as `basic.py`, then run:

python basic.py
