# Set Temperature

> Set the temperature option to 0.5 on an Ollama llama3.2 model.

## Code

```python set_temperature.py theme={null}
from agno.agent import Agent, RunOutput  # noqa
from agno.models.ollama import Ollama

agent = Agent(model=Ollama(id="llama3.2", options={"temperature": 0.5}), markdown=True)

# Get the response in a variable
# run: RunOutput = agent.run("Share a 2 sentence horror story")
# print(run.content)

# Print the response in the terminal
agent.print_response("Share a 2 sentence horror story")

```

**1. Install Ollama**

Follow the [Ollama installation guide](https://github.com/ollama/ollama?tab=readme-ov-file#macos) and run:

```bash theme={null}
ollama pull llama3.2
```

**2. Install dependencies**

```bash theme={null}
uv pip install -U ollama agno
```

**3. Run Agent**

Save the code above as `set_temperature.py`, then run:

```bash theme={null}
python set_temperature.py
```
