# Agent with Async Tool Usage

> Call a Llama agent's tools asynchronously with aprint_response().

## Code

```python tool_use.py theme={null}
import asyncio

from agno.agent import Agent
from agno.models.meta import Llama
from agno.tools.yfinance import YFinanceTools

agent = Agent(
    model=Llama(id="Llama-4-Maverick-17B-128E-Instruct-FP8"),
    tools=[YFinanceTools()],
)

if __name__ == "__main__":
    asyncio.run(agent.aprint_response("Whats the price of AAPL stock?"))
```

## Usage

**1. Set your LLAMA API key**

```bash theme={null}
export LLAMA_API_KEY=YOUR_API_KEY
```

**2. Install dependencies**

```bash theme={null}
uv pip install llama-api-client yfinance agno
```

**3. Run Agent**

Save the code above as `tool_use.py`, then run:

```bash theme={null}
python tool_use.py
```
