# Basic Agent

> Run a MiniMax-powered Agno agent synchronously, with streaming, and asynchronously.

if __name__ == "__main__":

## Usage

**1. Set your API key**

```bash theme={null}
export MINIMAX_API_KEY=xxx
```

**2. Install dependencies**

```bash theme={null}
uv pip install -U openai agno
```

**3. Run Agent**

Save the code above as `basic.py`, then run:

python basic.py
```
