# Audio Input Agent

> Send an audio file to an OpenAI agent and get a text description of its contents.

# Fetch the audio file and convert it to a base64 encoded string

## Usage

**1. Set your API key**

```bash theme={null}
export OPENAI_API_KEY=xxx
```

**2. Install dependencies**

```bash theme={null}
uv pip install -U openai requests agno
```

**3. Run Agent**

Save the code above as `audio_input_agent.py`, then run:

```bash theme={null}
python audio_input_agent.py
```
